We have a Nor'easter going on outside. It's 2:34 a.m. and I've been awake since midnight. The wind is HOWLING and the house is shaking. Our bedroom is on the 3rd floor and well, when you are laying in bed and feel it shaking - ummm, it's not a comforting feeling. LOL

I heard the blinds rattling downstairs, to find one of our windows had blown open. We have the Andersen windows that latch on the side. Called DH down and it took us 15 minutes to get the window closed to latch. The wind was working against us. Said window is broken, and he had to pull the broken slide latch off at the bottom of the sill. Nor'easter 1, Belcher's 0.

High tide is soon, and yes, it's flooding outside. The weatherman said minor tidal flooding - 3-4 feet above normal high tide. We start flooding around 4 feet, just minor stuff. Ummm, yeah....

While the rest of the East Coast is receiving an abundance of snow, we are getting monsoon rains and wind. I'm dreaming of these days again......

it's either that, or we move to the desert. LOL or New Mexico maybe???? They are usually nice and dry!

I hope everything's okay and that you don't get flooded!

We got some rain a couple of days ago, then it headed north and east and turned into the snow pounding the Atlantic coast, so it's dry here, if you want to move to north Texas!

Stay safe (and dry!)
