Last weekend was rainy, cold and dreary, with the snow and ice on Monday. This weekend, wow what a difference. We've been in the 70's all weekend. The windows are open, the ceiling fans are running, and I can hear the birds chirping outside.

We had the in-laws over for dinner last night, including BIL/SIL and nephew who were in town for the weekend. We grilled chicken, and had salad and corn on the cob.

Today was the time change (snore), also, our church services changed time. Sunday School has moved from 9:45 to 9:30, and worship from 11:00 to 10:30. So, we had to be up and ready to leave earlier than normal. I had nursery during worship service. My friend Barb usually keeps it with me, but she was celebrating her birthday - so I enlisted 2 of the youth girls to help. We ended up with 3 little ones (between 1 and 2 years of age). Since it was so nice, we took them outside to play on the playset. It helped make the hour go by a bit faster! LOL

The father of DH's best friend from high school passed away Friday morning. He was a Methodist minister and has served in the community since the 60's. We will be going to visitation tomorrow evening. I see his wife, Miss Sarah at the hospital each week - as she is one of our volunteers. I know she is going to miss her Henry, moreso than we will. He was a very sweet man.

Hope y'all are having a great weekend!

I'm sorry about Henry's passing.

It sounds like you've got some nice weather going on! It's been warmer here the past few days, but it's been accompanied by raining, so not perfect weather.
