Remember just yesterday, when I mentioned the subscription to Paula Deen's new magazine? Well, my first issue arrived today. AWESOME!

Also, I tried a recipe from the cookbook. Gooey Butter Cake is featured in the picture to the left as well. I used one of her variations, and used a lemon cake mix, with lemon juice added in the "gooey" part. It is very YUMMY and delicious. DH ate 2 pieces! LOL

Not much going on today. It's a warm spring day here in VA. We are enjoying our weekend, and laying low!! I LOVE days like this!! Even Nina beagle is in the act, she's snoozing the afternoon away on the couch.
