From "The A List"

What are some of your most vivid Halloween memories? What treat did you hope to find when you got back home and dumped out the spoils for review?

I lived in a very small town in WV growing up. Everyone knew everyone. A lot of goodies were of the homemade variety, and we never had to worry about anything bad being in them. My most favorites were homemade popcorn balls, fudge and candy apples. During some of the really COLD Halloween nights, some folks would have a bonfire, or give us cups of hot chocolate or apple cider. Yes, people actually gave these out at Halloween! I went with a group of friends, and we went all OVER town. It was so much fun and sometimes, I miss those days!!
